Eleanor Scott — Editor-in-Chief

Greetings! I'm Eleanor Scott (she/her), and I'm Editor-in-Chief of Volume 14 of Occam's Razor. This is my senior year, and I'm majoring in English literature with minors in theatre and technical writing. In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, crosswords, and playing Scrabble. I'm uncertain what my next step is after graduation, but I'm excited to see what happens! My favorite book is Martin Marten by Brian Doyle, and my favorite movie is Ferris Bueller's Day Off. I look forward to reading/editing your submissions!

Nadia Bartrand — Associate Editor

Howdy! I’m Nadia (they/he) and this is my final year studying sociology and professional writing at WWU. In my spare time, I love swimming at the Rec, listening to psych rock, reading, and hanging out with my kitty. After graduation, I plan to continue my current work in the nonprofit sector, and I ultimately hope to do ethnographic research. My favorite movie is Arrival and my favorite book from this summer is Catcher in the Rye.

Edme Guetschow — Associate Editor

Hello, I’m Edme Guetschow (she/her)! This is my third year at WWU working towards a History major with a minor in Anthropology. When I’m not elbows deep in classwork, I generally spend my free time drawing, reading new books, watching ridiculous movies with friends, and working on random craft projects! My career goals are still fairly nebulous, but in the future I hope to go to grad school to continue on in the History field. My favorite book at the moment is The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov. My favorite movie is – as always – the 1977 animated adaptation of The Hobbit.

Justin King — Associate Editor

Hello I’m Justin King (he/him). I study Psychology and minor in Computer Science and Eurasian Studies. I enjoy learning piano and playing games. I also like to read, drive around, and spend time with friends. After graduating, I’m considering a career in foreign services, teaching, or becoming an Arctic hermit. My favorite book is either Dune by Frank Herbert or Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley, and my favorite movie is Annihilation. It’s a privilege to read and edit works of passion, and I hope you send yours our way!
